Grandma & Grandpa Jubang Come Visit

Mom and dad came to visit and help me with Tyler while Capp went to Vegas for a work conference. Tyler had fun staying home from school for a few days to spend time with grandma and grandpa. While mom and dad were in town, Tyler started holding his own bottle and learned how to put the wooden pieces of his train on its pegs.

Eleven Months Old

Tyler turned 11 months old on the 5th. Unfortunately, this month hasn't been too much fun. We got our 2nd ear infection and then a horrible stomach virus. Tyler is still not walking but is standing on his own for longer periods of time. He's also really into sharing his toys and food, pointing, saying a few words that only mommy and daddy can really understand, adding his arms into his dancing moves and really starting to mimic our actions. Oh...and Tyler LOVES Daphne. He's learned how to throw the ball for doggie and loves to pet her and give her hugs. Daph is great with Tyler and Tyler rewards doggie by throwing food from his high chair for her and gives her treats with daddy's assistance. We're looking forward to spring and our birthdays!

Christmas 2008 & Ten Months Old

Tyler is 10 months old today! I can't believe it. We had a wonderful Christmas. My whole family was able to come and spend the holidays with us. Tyler, of course, got tons of toys and lots of of love and attention. He's doing lots of cruising, getting two new teeth...Capp and I call him our little vampire...and loves his finger foods and feeding himself. Every once in awhile we'll see him standing on his own and are thinking he'll be taking his first step soon. Tyler loves crawling after Daphne and pulling on her ears. Poor Daph has no idea what's in store for her.

CCOA Christmas Party 2008

Yesterday afternoon was Tyler's Christmas Party at school. Tyler got to meet Santa, we attempted to build a gingerbread house, opened presents and ate lots of yummy treats! Capp and I had a great time and enjoyed watching Tyler play with his friends. We got to witness first hand that Tyler and Jack are in deed the bullies of the Ducks Class. We can't wait for Christmas and are excited for everyone to come in town to spend it with us.

Nine Months Old

Tyler turned 9 months old on December 5th. He's 18 lbs 11 oz, 27 1/2 inches long and in the 20th percentile all across the board. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at our house with my parents, Yvonne and her boyfriend and Capp's mom. With it being Tyler's first Thanksgiving, he of course, was the center of everyone's attention. He got to eat some turkey and mashed potatoes and loved it as you will see in the pictures below. He's quite the little busy body and is curious about everything. He cracks Capp and I up everyday with all of his facial expressions....sticking out his tongue being the newest. Enjoy the pics!

Eight Months Old

Tyler turned 8 months old on the 5th and is sick :( . We just got over our first ear infection and now we have some sort of viral infection. It's that time of the year....hopefully this is it for us. Aside from the recent bout of infections....things have been great! Tyler is pulling up on everything and starting to take a few cautious steps as long as he has something to hold on to. We've introduced him to a few finger foods and he gets most of it in his mouth. Daphne loves it since she gets everything that drops on the floor. Wonder how much weight she's going to gain through this whole process?? He's talking more and more every day....baby talk that is...and every once in awhile I'll hear mama :). We had a great first Halloween as a monkey and are looking forward to the Holidays.
