Tyler is 10 months old today! I can't believe it. We had a wonderful Christmas. My whole family was able to come and spend the holidays with us. Tyler, of course, got tons of toys and lots of of love and attention. He's doing lots of cruising, getting two new teeth...Capp and I call him our little vampire...and loves his finger foods and feeding himself. Every once in awhile we'll see him standing on his own and are thinking he'll be taking his first step soon. Tyler loves crawling after Daphne and pulling on her ears. Poor Daph has no idea what's in store for her.

CCOA Christmas Party 2008
Yesterday afternoon was Tyler's Christmas Party at school. Tyler got to meet Santa, we attempted to build a gingerbread house, opened presents and ate lots of yummy treats! Capp and I had a great time and enjoyed watching Tyler play with his friends. We got to witness first hand that Tyler and Jack are in deed the bullies of the Ducks Class. We can't wait for Christmas and are excited for everyone to come in town to spend it with us.

Nine Months Old
Tyler turned 9 months old on December 5th. He's 18 lbs 11 oz, 27 1/2 inches long and in the 20th percentile all across the board. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at our house with my parents, Yvonne and her boyfriend and Capp's mom. With it being Tyler's first Thanksgiving, he of course, was the center of everyone's attention. He got to eat some turkey and mashed potatoes and loved it as you will see in the pictures below. He's quite the little busy body and is curious about everything. He cracks Capp and I up everyday with all of his facial expressions....sticking out his tongue being the newest. Enjoy the pics!

Eight Months Old
Tyler turned 8 months old on the 5th and is sick :( . We just got over our first ear infection and now we have some sort of viral infection. It's that time of the year....hopefully this is it for us. Aside from the recent bout of infections....things have been great! Tyler is pulling up on everything and starting to take a few cautious steps as long as he has something to hold on to. We've introduced him to a few finger foods and he gets most of it in his mouth. Daphne loves it since she gets everything that drops on the floor. Wonder how much weight she's going to gain through this whole process?? He's talking more and more every day....baby talk that is...and every once in awhile I'll hear mama :). We had a great first Halloween as a monkey and are looking forward to the Holidays.

Seven Months Old
Tyler is seven months old today and it's been quite a month. He's crawling all over the place, getting his first tooth, learning how to drink water from a sippy cup and hold his own bottle, he can say "da da"....although he doesn't quite associate "da da" with Capp, is starting to pull up and has learned how to stand up in his crib. Before we know it, he's going to be walking.

Six Months Old
Tyler is six months old today....weighing in at 17 pounds and 26 inches long. Feels just like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. Tyler just got a high chair and has started eating baby food....which he can't get enough of. He's also able to sit up on his own and has started crawling. Soon he'll be chasing after doggie....who he thinks is hilarious. As an added bonus....he's finally started sleeping through the night! YEAH!! He's still as happy and curious as ever and always on the move. It's been a great six months!

Tyler's First Vacation
We just got back from our first vacation with Tyler. We spent a few days down in Port Aransas with my parents. As you can see from the pictures......Tyler loved playing in the pool and having the ocean splash at his feet but it was all very exhausting. Aside from all the mosquitoes, we had a great time and are looking forward to our next vacation.
